Overview

            Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a 3-year program that involves the application of the
principles of physics and material science for the analysis, design, manufacturing and
maintenance of mechanical systems. The diploma program provides a broad based and diverse
engineering learning in thermodynamics, material science, fluid mechanics, fuels,
instrumentation, combustion and control.
While undergoing diploma course in mechanical engineering at St. Peters Engineering College,
students are provided with the foundation skills needed to conceive and produce moving parts,
components and the machinery in every aspect of manufacturing. Students will also be equipped
with the broad-based engineering knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects.
Diploma in mechanical engineering at St. Peters Engineering College seeks to provide more
accessible and quality education and training to the manufacturing and production personnel to
meet the requirements of manufacturing and production industry. The program also prepares
students for the changes in techniques and technologies.
The department of Diploma in mechanical engineering has come into existence in the year 2014,
since inception of the college two batches have passed out. The department is equipped with
fully established labs that are very beneficial to the students to get deep insight and practical
