    Welcome to SPEC website. I feel proud and privileged to be the part of this Magnificent Institution.  I am pleased to acknowledge that St. Peters Engineering  College lays its stress not just on academic excellence but on “character formation with academic excellence". We aim not only to impart knowledge to the students but also to inculcate wisdom, compassion and a humanitarian spirit in them.We appreciate students who are creatively curious and strive to experiment & innovate new things on both academic and non-academic fronts. We extend an affectionate greeting to each and every engineering aspirant to join our institution.I am honored to work with the faculty and staff of the college to secure bright future of our students and our college as a whole. We recognize that as we 'work together and learn together' students will be best able to achieve their potential. Our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed to ensure that we are following the most updated best practices, meeting all regulations, and addressing the future needs of our students.We are proud to say that our institution has earned an undeniable reputation for strict discipline and in the academics. St. Peter’s Engineering College has already made great strides in achieving the high success rate of graduates. 

    The NSS cell provides a platform to all the students to involve themselves in to charitable and social activities .Incubation centers will be soon established in all the departments to develop innovative ideas of students. A dedicated anti-ragging committee monitors the campus.

    An efficient placement cell is operating in the college to help students in getting suitable placements by providing pre-placement trainings.

    As the Principal of the college, I am privileged to be a part of a team in which every member is a leader of teaching and learning. We therefore seek to work in close partnership with parents, industry professionals, professionals from research and development sector, government and non-government sectors and other important stakeholders. I strongly believe that education is a collaborative effort that involves professional administrators, committed teachers and motivated students. We dedicate ourselves as professional administrators in creating a dynamic education programme empowering the students in a global perspective.

    Dr K Sree Latha, an able administrator and accomplished educationist, started her career in the Institute in the year 2016 and has worked in the capacity of Vice-Principal, Professor & Head-EEE Department. She was formerly associated with GNITC, Hyderabad, Veltech Engineering College Chennai and KSRM College of Engineering, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

    She obtained her B.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and M.Tech., in Electrical Power Systems from JNTU College of Engineering Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, she received her Ph. D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JNTU college of Engineering, Anantapuramu. Dr. K. Sree Latha has guided several B.Tech / M.Tech students and published numerous papers in reputed journals/conference proceedings.

    Her research areas include Power systems, FACTS, Renewable Energy sources, application intelligent controllers to renewable energy sources. She has got 4 patents published and 01 patent granted to her credit. She received an amount of Rs 6 Lakhs towards Prerana Scheme for SC and ST students under AICTE AQIS. She organized various lecture, conferences etc., with her able guidance and leadership.

    She has also participated in AICTE-UKERI programme and received the CMI Level5 certificate in leadership by British Council.

    A warm and easy to approach personality, Dr K Sree Latha maintains a positive and constructive approach with the parents, students, staff and management and all stake holders. She is a source of inspiration to the staff and students to excel in their endeavors.
